On the afternoon of 1 December, BritCham Shanghai was delighted to host the British Ambassador to China, Caroline Wilson DCMG, for a roundtable meeting with the Chamber’s Platinum Members at the Chamber office. Also in attendance were Andrew McAllister, Acting British Consul-General Shanghai and Benjamin Griffin, Political Consul.
At the meeting, Ray Chisnall, Chair of BritCham Shanghai, reviewed the Chamber’s work over the past year and introduced the themes for 2023. The Ambassador congratulated the Chamber on continuing to thrive and for the support to the business community during what has been a challenging year.
It was a great opportunity for members to share the business challenges and opportunities with the Ambassador.
