On the evening of 10 December 2024, BritCham Shanghai hosted the year-end appreciation dinner for platinum members at the British Consul-General’s residence in Shanghai.
This exclusive event was a heartfelt tribute to the unwavering support and commitment of its platinum members. It also served as a platform to celebrate collective achievements and deepen meaningful connections within the business community.
The evening commenced with opening remarks from Matt Burney, CMG, British Consul-General, Shanghai, and BritCham Shanghai Chair Kirsten Johnston, then followed by a closed-door panel discussion moderated by BritCham Shanghai Executive Director Stuart Dunn. Journalists Don Weinland from The Economist Group and Thomas Hale from the Financial Times provided their observations on the year.
Guests were treated to food and wines by Le Cordon Bleu, Ray Fine Wines and Nimbility, as well as a Macallan whisky-tasting experience, supported by Edrington.
