Against a backdrop of continued engagement between the UK and China over the past year, the British Chamber of Commerce Shanghai is delighted to announce the 2026 East China Government Dinner—an evening bringing together government and business leaders to celebrate longstanding relationships and explore opportunities for continued cooperation.
Taking place on Thursday, 3 December at the Regent Shanghai on the Bund, the dinner will welcome senior UK and Chinese government officials, regional representatives and business leaders from Shanghai and across East China.
With attendance limited to 270 guests, the event provides a setting to connect with decision-makers, strengthen relationships and exchange perspectives on the future of UK–China trade and investment.
The East China Government Dinner offers a platform for engagement with stakeholders from across the region, including Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui and Jiangxi.
Guests will have the opportunity to meet representatives from government and industry, alongside senior executives from multinational companies and leading regional businesses. The evening will celebrate the contributions of organisations working to build connections between the UK and China and look ahead to the opportunities for collaboration.
*More details will be released soon. BritCham Shanghai reserves the right to alter the above agenda at any time.
