To showcase the excellence of British consumer brands in China and to bridge the gap between Chinese consumer brands and the UK market, the China-Britain Business Council (CBBC) will host a UK-China Brand Excellence Summit in May 2025 in Shanghai.
This summit will serve as a vital platform for dialogue and collaboration: allowing brands from both nations to share insights, strategies, and best practices tailored to the unique demands of each market.

About the summit

Either “in China, for China”, or “from China to the world”, British and Chinese consumer brands have a lot to share with and learn from each other. We have seen numerous examples of British consumer brands dedicated to the China market and leading innovation. Similar examples can be found of Chinese consumer brands marching into the global market with the same level of innovation and determination.

The summit serves as a platform for sponsors to showcase their commitment to excellence and innovation, aligning their brand with the positive attributes associated with high-caliber events. This exposure can significantly boost brand recognition among key consumer demographics, ultimately driving growth and expanding market reach in the competitive UK-China landscape.

For British brands, the summit acts as a strategic platform to showcase your soft brand power in China. British companies can increase brand visibility to key stakeholders including government officials, media, and other businesses, attract potential partnerships, and explore new business opportunities.

For Chinese brands, attending this summit offers a unique opportunity to engage directly with British counterparts, facilitating valuable networking and collaboration that can lead to innovative partnerships. Through the Summit, it is possible to further participate in CBBC’s London flagship event China Consumer 2025 and explore the UK market through CBBC.
