BritCham Shanghai Legal & Regulatory Committee is pleased to partner with Shanghai International Dispute Resolution Center (SHIAC) and China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME) to co-host “The Green Future and New Journey for the Rule of Law for the Automotive Industry” Roundtable at SHIAC, on Friday, 6 December 2024 from 9:15 am-12:10 pm.

Participated by senior management of automotive manufacturers and tier 1, tier 2 and tier 3 suppliers. This Automotive Roundtable will address the following three different topics to be discussed:

Topic 1: Whether it is economically feasible to achieve net-zero emissions in the automotive sector and how to solve the Scope 3 Emissions of greenhouse gas

Topic 2: Current and future legal challenges in the global automobile industry

Topic 3: Recent and future developments and new technology trends in autonomous driving

This session is convened under strict Chatham House rules to facilitate open discussion and encourage the establishment of a supportive network of British and international companies.
