His journey into technology began at age 10 when he taught himself coding, leading him to earn a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence from CentraleSupelec, France’s premier IT engineering school, in 1993.

Stephane spent over a decade in Financial IT before founding System in Motion in Shanghai in 2004. His vision was to create a top-tier technology consulting firm capable of guiding corporations in modernizing their Information Systems. As the Chinese market evolved, so did System in Motion, consistently integrating new technologies into its service offerings.

Beyond his role at System in Motion, Stephane is a pivotal figure in Shanghai’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. He has mentored numerous tech startups through Orbit Ventures and played a key role in launching the EO Accelerator program in 2016. He is also a founding member of La French Tech Shanghai, contributing significantly to the local tech community.

Currently, Stephane focuses on Generative AI, a field in which he frequently delivers keynote speeches. Amelia is the Director of Educational Technology and Innovation at Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi, where she supports staff and students to improve their digital and technological capabilities both in the classroom and in wider school life. She is passionate about developing creativity and a Maker Mindset in both adults and children, and believes in the importance of ‘playing’ with technology in order to develop confidence further. Her areas of interest include innovative technologies such as VR and the use of generative AI to augment education and support wellbeing in both students and teachers. Through this, Amelia recently led the school to win the inagural Tes International School Award for Best Use of Technology for the holistic use of AI in all areas, a clear sign that the College is using AI effectively to develop innovators of tomorrow!
